Course Overview

The 3d animation masterclass is a 5 weeks intensive program designed to give you a great start in the field of 3d computer graphics and animation with over 80 hours of one on one hands-on classroom sessions and several hours of Video Training.

The Training was designed for people looking to develop the necessary skills required for the production of 3d graphics and animation for advertising, architectural visualization, product design and product visualization as well as those looking to get a start in the field of 3d animated filmmaking.

The course is an introductory course with a focus on getting you acquainted with the core concepts of 3d computer graphics while getting you productive as quickly as possible as we go through the basic 3d production workflow.

By the time you have completed this course, you should have the necessary skills required to create photorealistic 3d graphics and the foundational skills and knowledge needed for further mastery of your chosen field.

Week 1:

• Introduction To Computer Graphics
• Introduction to 3d Computer Graphics
• Introduction to 3ds Max

Week 2:

• Introduction To Modelling
• Subdividion Surface Modelling
• Hard Surface Modelling
• Organic Modelling

Week 3:

• Shade & Texture in 3ds max
• Lighting & Rendering in 3ds Max

Week 4:

• Shade & Texture 2 (V-Ray)
• Lighting & Rendering 2(V-Ray)
  

Week 5: 

• Introduction to animation in 3ds Max

Course Requirements

• No prior knowledge or experience is required
• Students must be at least 16 years of age
• Students are required to come to class with their laptops and a 3 button mouse
